I teach from age 6 upwards, and have even had the pleasure of teaching students in their 60s.
It's never too late to start learning, and those starting from scratch are very much welcome.
Yes, absolutely. I have experience teaching children with a range of special needs, including Asperger's, dyslexia, and ADHD.

My lessons are based in South Birmingham, West Midlands.
I also offer home visits for an additional travel fee (see 'Pricing' for details).
Yes, I offer home visits at my standard lesson rates, plus a travel fee of £5 for every 15 minutes of travel time.
30 minutes: £20
45 minutes: £30
60 minutes: £35
I offer discounts on block bookings of more than 4 lessons.
Lessons are available in 30, 45, or 60-minute durations.
While a weekly 60-minute lesson is most common, you are not obligated to a specific frequency.
Fortnightly lessons are also a popular option.
Weekdays (Monday-Friday): 11:00 am - 7:30 pm
Weekends: 11:00 am - 5:30 pm
I require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for cancellations.
With less than 48 hours' notice, I may charge 50% of the lesson fee.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full.
This policy helps me manage my schedule and cover lost studio time.
Of course, I will always be reasonable in cases of genuine emergency or illness.
I have both! You are welcome to choose which type of kit you would prefer to learn on.
Yes, parents are absolutely welcome to stay and observe the lesson.
For your peace of mind, I hold a current, enhanced DBS check (formerly known as CRB), which I renew annually.
Yes! I am happy to incorporate learning your favourite songs into the lessons to make them more engaging and fun.
Learning the drums is an ongoing and rewarding journey.
The pace of progress depends entirely on your personal goals and how much you practice.
There is always something new, fun, and challenging to learn!
Consistent practice is key to progress.
The amount needed varies by individual, but I always recommend regular practice between lessons.
Even 15 minutes of focused, quality practice each day can make a significant difference.
